Two Phased Sets the Tone for a New Imprint With “Light It Up”
by EDMBoard Staff October 18, 2026
Emerging House project Two Phased has unveiled “Light It Up,” a new club-minded release that launches both a fresh artistic chapter and the project’s own independent label, Two Phased Records.
As the label’s first release, TPR001, “Light It Up” arrives with a clear purpose: delivering immediate energy without sacrificing the clean, controlled production that defines a modern House record. A driving groove anchors the track, while its memorable vocal line adds an accessible melodic centre built to resonate on dancefloors and beyond.
Rather than relying on excess, Two Phased keeps the production tight and intentional. The result is a record that feels built for the club, but remains equally effective for everyday listening. With crisp sonics, a direct arrangement and a hook that lands from the first listen, “Light It Up” offers a confident introduction to the sound and direction behind the project.
The release also provides the first glimpse of what Two Phased Records aims to become. The imprint is being positioned as a platform for House music that combines powerful rhythmic energy with strong melodies and polished production—an approach “Light It Up” captures in full.
Speaking about the launch, Stephen, the producer behind Two Phased, said:
“Two Phased is about creating music that connects with people on the dancefloor. With Two Phased Records, I wanted to build a platform for a distinctive sound, combining powerful club energy, memorable melodies and clean modern production. This release marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter with plenty more to come.”
With its debut release now out in the world, Two Phased Records begins its journey with a track designed to travel—from playlists and radio shows to DJ sets and global club spaces. If “Light It Up” is any indication, the project’s next phase is set to be a bright one.
