Unmasking Strength: GlassJack’s “hold on.” Powers a Movement for Mental Health
Based in the creative heart of Oakland, electronic music artist GlassJack is channeling her signature blend of House, Melodic Techno, and Dance into something far bigger than the dancefloor. Her new track, “hold on.”, sits at the center of the Unmasked project—an initiative committed to destigmatizing mental health by sharing real stories of endurance, vulnerability, and recovery.
As part of the launch, GlassJack is leading The Unmasked Team in the upcoming NAMIWalks, partnering with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) throughout a month-long Unmasked Campaign for Mental Health Awareness Month in May. NAMIWalks, the signature fundraising and awareness event for the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization, unites families, individuals, and businesses to confront stigma and raise crucial funds for free, top-rated mental health programs.
A portion of the momentum behind “hold on.” is dedicated to supporting NAMI San Francisco through community storytelling and fundraising efforts. For GlassJack, the track is more than music—it’s a signal of hope, an invitation to speak openly, and a rallying cry to hold on, together.
