Hi Jacob, how’s everything going?
Everything is great! These past couple of weeks, I’ve been refining my sound, so I’m excited to be putting out some new music soon.
With summer quickly unfolding, what are you most looking forward to this
season, both personally and in your music career?
Personally, for me, it’s just expanding my mind, and I’m unlocking new capabilities for myself, whether that’s making new genres of music or any sort of fitness goal that I have.
As far as my music, it’s also about expansion, so I’m looking forward to gaining new fans and putting out new tracks.
Are there any upcoming shows or festivals this summer that you’re particularly excited about?
I live in New York, so in particular, I’m looking forward to the Brooklyn Mirage opening up, which it still hasn’t yet, so it’s to be continued…
Do you have any specific goals you’re hoping to achieve as an artist over the
summer?
In particular, I would like to work with artists out of the UK Hip-Hop scene – which I’m working towards, so let’s see how it goes… I’ve got some ideas.
Can fans look forward to any new releases from you in the coming months?
Absolutely! Like I mentioned earlier, I’ve been refining my sound the past couple of weeks, so I’m excited to put out some new music soon.
Would you say your approach to live sets shifts during the summer compared to the rest of the year?
For the summertime, I would say there’s definitely more day parties with the rooftops open, so yeah – definitely a little difference between playing during the day and at night.
What does a perfect summer day look like for you?
Rooftop vibes, good music, with a drink in hand.
Summer often sparks creativity. Is there anything in particular you’re hoping to
channel into your productions during this time?
Yes, with the current sound I’m introducing, I’ve been more actively involved with vocal top lines, so I’m excited to see how this unfolds.
When you get a break from the studio and gigs, what are you most looking
forward to doing this summer outside of music?
This still has to do with music, but I’ve been going to a lot of concerts this year. Still keeping in tune with my Reggaeton and Hip-Hop side.
Finally, if you could capture your upcoming summer in one word, what would it be?
Prolific.
