Ashley Paul and Luv Foundation (UK) are back with another hit, teaming up with BootlegBoys for their latest summer anthem, ‘Dance (U Gotta)’. This follows the success of their current hit ‘Hearts Up’, which continues to receive significant airplay and support from EARMILK, EDMHouseNetwork, and We Rave You. The remixes by Robbie Rivera and Lizzie Curious are also gaining traction, with spins by StoneBridge on Sirius XM BPM and DJ S.K.T on Kiss FM.

‘Dance (U Gotta)’ is a fresh take on BootlegBoys‘ 1994 track ‘Euro Friendly’, originally released on the Labello Dance label. Reflecting on the track, Mark from Luv Foundation (UK) shares,“I remember going to TRADE back in 1995, I was only 16 years old and heard this track played by the legendary late Tony De Vit in his set, I remember going into the record exchange shop in Soho, London and grabbing a compilation album called FLYING HIGH where the track was featured, it has been a huge part of my life and DJ sets and I regularly use the Original for GYM sets and cardio sets to this day”.

With a desire to bring new life to this underground classic, Mark reached out to Keith Mac for permission to rework the track, adding a modern twist with new vocals. Ashley Paul, alongside Lucas Marx, has infused the song with a new verse while tweaking the original hook. The result is a captivating update that retains the essence of the 1994 hit.

The artwork, social media content, and lyric video for ‘Dance (U Gotta)’ were conceptualized by Mark from Luv Foundation (UK). He aimed to evoke nostalgia through stickmen dancing, a vision brought to life by Sean Keepin.
