Hey! I’m doing great and thank you! I’m really excited to share ‘Hard Melody’ with the world. It’s a track that represents a new step in my sound, and I can’t wait to see how people connect with it.

2. To start, tell us about the inspirations behind ‘Hard Melody’. Were there any reference tracks or artists that influenced the direction of the track?

The inspiration behind ‘Hard Melody’ came from my love for classic House pianos combined with the energy of modern Tech House. I wanted to create a track where melodic elements and a heavy groove could coexist in contrast. Artists like Dennis Ferrer and Masters At Work have always inspired me with their ability to blend musicality with dancefloor energy, and I took that mindset into this track.

3. The track features uplifting vocal layers—how did you decide on these elements, and how did you work to integrate them into the mix?

I wanted the vocals to add a dynamic and rhythmic element rather than just being a focal point. I selected house-style female vocal chops, cutting and arranging them to fit seamlessly within the groove. To make them sit well in the mix, I used a combination of EQ, sidechain compression, and spatial effects like reverb and delay to blend them naturally while keeping them punchy and energetic.

4. Can you share how you developed the intricate rhythms and beats featured in the track?

Rhythm is everything in House music, so I focused on creating a groove that feels both driving and infectious. The drums were built layer by layer, starting with a punchy kick and rolling percussion. I used a mix of classic House drum patterns with modern Tech House swing, adding shakers and hi-hats to keep the energy alive. The groove constantly evolves throughout the track to maintain movement and excitement.

This track represents my vision of blending melodic depth with dancefloor intensity. I always aim to innovate while respecting the foundations of House and Techno. I experiment with new textures, techniques, and influences while keeping groove and energy at the core of my productions. I also listen to a lot of different styles, which helps me find fresh inspiration without losing my identity.

7. The track feels designed for dancefloors—how did you ensure it resonates with both club-goers and casual listeners?

I focused on contrast and progression. The uplifting piano sections make the track accessible and melodic, while the bass-heavy drop keeps it club-ready. This way, the track works whether someone is listening in their headphones or experiencing it in a packed club.

Hearing the final mix come together was an amazing moment. Balancing the soft, melodic piano with the raw power of the drop took a lot of fine-tuning, but once it clicked, I knew I had something special. Seeing the track come to life in a club setting is always the most rewarding part.
