Jason Kushy Drops New Two-Track EP Side Effects on OMNIX Records

Jason Kushy enters a new phase of his rising electronic music career with the release of Side Effects, a two-track tech house EP available today, November 6, 2026, via OMNIX Records under exclusive license to Universal Music Ltda.

The EP includes “No Distractions” and “Veneno,” two club-focused productions that highlight Kushy’s ability to balance driving dance-floor energy with melodic accessibility. The release captures the instinctive, crowd-focused approach he has developed through more than a decade of DJing.
For Kushy, the path to electronic music began early. Raised in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley and now based in Monterey, California, he started teaching himself to DJ at age 11 with an $80 mixer in his parents’ basement. By eighth grade, he had launched his own DJ business, eventually performing at weddings, proms and parties while building the skills needed to read and connect with a room.
That experience continues to shape his work as a producer. Since beginning his original release campaign in 2025, Kushy has surpassed one million Spotify streams and more than 120,000 monthly listeners. His music has reached over 450,000 unique listeners during the past 12 months, while his Keep It Moving EP on Direct Action Records climbed to No. 18 on Beatport’s Tech House Top 100 Releases chart.
Kushy’s growing catalog has also attracted support from Louis The Child, SIDEPIECE, Jauz, Wolfgang Gartner, Bingo Players and San Holo. His tracks have received repost support from labels and platforms including Dim Mak, Insomniac Records, Barong Family and Space Yacht.
Alongside his original productions, Kushy has released remixes of material by Fleetwood Mac, Pet Shop Boys, Hall & Oates, Natasha Bedingfield and Sean Paul. His own tracks include “Gave It My All,” “I’m Okay” and “Close the Door.”
His creative identity extends through Stay Kushy, a project that brings together music, minimalist artwork, exclusive live edits and custom visuals inspired by games, animation and pop culture. The concept reflects Kushy’s focus on authenticity and shared experiences—both in the club and beyond it.
